System Administrator User
ChapterLink requires a Full User license account with Customers and Events module at 4-Full Entry/Edit or higher. Should the account info change please update the username and password to provide ChapterLink with the right access to the iMIS system. For security the password will always be empty when loading the settings page.
Paths used by ChapterLink
These are the root folders used by ChapterLink at the time of installation. Should the folder names or paths change the settings will need to be updated as well.
Email Settings
This controls the default email address used in the Chapter Emails. Note: To avoid emails going to spam and increase mail deliverability, the email domain used here needs to authorize sending emails from iMIS by configuring the SPF record. For more details on SPF configuration, see What is an SPF Record? |

ChapterLink Modules
Below is a description of each module available in the ChapterLink Settings:
-
Enable Event Approvals:
This module allows you to manage and approve events submitted by chapters. Enabling this feature ensures that no event is published without approval from the administrator.
-
Enable Email Approvals:
This module provides control over emails sent out by the chapter. Emails will require administrative approval before being dispatched to ensure content compliance with organizational standards.
-
Enable Event Address:
This option lets chapters add addresses to events, ensuring that event location details are included when events are created or edited.
-
Enable Program Items and Pricing:
This module activates the functionality for chapters to create and manage program items and set corresponding pricing. Enabling this allows the chapter to handle more detailed event management, including ticketed or priced activities.
After configuring the desired modules, click the Save Settings button to apply the changes.
Add/Update ChapterLink Tables
During ChapterLink installation and after enabling ChapterLink modules, the ChapterLink Tables will need to be updated to support the extended capabilities of these modules.
Note that this will require a SysAdmin role user to be set in the ChapterLink settings.
