This guide provides instructions for installing the Chapter Event Management tool in iMIS.
Before you begin, be sure you are logged in as a system administrator.


 

STEP ONE: RiSE IMPORT

 

Download the file CEM_Setup.zip from Armstrong Enterprise Communications |iMIS & MS Dynamics GP Solutions & Services

Click Import.

 

Extract the zip file and select CEM_RiSE Import.xml and click Upload.

 

 

Be sure “Override destination with: @” is unchecked and “Overwrite existing objects” is checked.

 

Click Import.

 

 

 

 

When the Messages box indicates that the import was completed successfully, click Close.

 

Next, click Publish and then OK.

 

Ensure that all items have published successfully before proceeding.

 

To confirm successful publishing, select Organize and then Refresh from the drop-down menu, and wait until all red or yellow lines are gone from the items being published.

 

 

STEP TWO: PANEL SETUP

Option 1: Panel setup via script (only on iMIS 20.3 and above)

 

In RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content, navigate to the Chapter Event Management folder and open “Create CEM Panel.”

 

 

 

 

After a few moments, you should see a message that says, “ChapterEvents panel source created, continue to step 3.

Option 2: Manual Setup (iMIS 2017 or if Option 1 doesn’t work)

 

 

If Option 1 (above) doesn’t work or you are on iMIS 2017,
(A) navigate to RiSE > Panel Designer
(B) Add panel definition
(C) Panel Name: ChapterEvents / Parent Type: Contact / Panel Type: Multi-Instance
(D) Create a source called “ChapterEvents”

In the “ChapterEvents” source, name and define the fields listed in this table.

 

It is recommended that you check the box to log all changes if possible.

** - For Status, select Pre-defined values, defined by Explicit List. List includes:

Data Value A / Display Value Active

Data Value P / Display Value Pending

 

 

 

Create a second panel source called “ChapterCommunication”, name and define the fields listed on the left table.

 

STEP THREE: FORM SETUP

 

 

(A) Navigate to RiSE > Form Builder > Migrate forms.

(B) Select Import

(C) Select CEM_Form Import.json.

(D) Click Upload File.

 

 

 

(A) Select the “Chapter Admin Event Creation” and “Update Chapter Event” forms. 

(B) Click Import Selected Forms

(C) Click OK.

 

 

Be sure that Messages area confirms that import was successful.

 

 

 

 

STEP FOUR: IQA IMPORT

 

 

In RiSE > Intelligent Query Architect,

 

(A) Click Import

(B) Select CEM_IQA Import.xml

(C) Click Upload

 

 

(A) Be sure “Override destination with: $” is UNchecked.

(B) Be sure “Overwrite existing objects” is checked (and all boxes under “Import file contents”)

(C) Click Import

 

Be sure that Messages area confirms that import was successful.

STEP FIVE: CHAPTER BASE EVENT SETUP

 

 

Navigate to Events > Add event. 
Select Create a new event and click Next.

 

 

On the Info tab, enter the following:
Event Code: CHAPBASE

Event Name: Base Event for Chapter Admins

Status: Pending

Category: Chapter

Description: This event will be used to update information for Chapter Admins.

 

 

 

 

 

On the Pricing tab, select “Add new registration option.”

 

Set the registration option code to REG and the registration option name to Registration.

 

 

On the Pricing tab of the registration option, check Comp for both Default and Members.

 

Save & Close the registration option and the event.

STEP SIX: FINAL ADJUSTMENTS & SETTINGS

  1. Remap the forms in RiSE.

 

 

Navigate to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content > Chapter Management Suite and edit “Create Chapter Event.”

 

 

(A) On the “New FormsCommon” iPart, click Remove

(B) Click OK to confirm.

(C) Click Add content.

 

 

From the Content gallery, click on Content and then Open the Forms iPart.

 

In the Form drop-down menu on the iPart, select “Chapter Admin Event Creation (Chapter Event Management)” then click OK and Save & Publish.

 

Repeat this process for the “Update Chapter Event” content item, selecting “Update Chapter Event (Chapter Event Management)” from the Forms iPart drop-down menu.  Once again, click OK then Save & Publish.

  1. Create the SSO Endpoints.

 

 

Navigate to Settings > Contacts > Client Applications.  Click Add client application.

 

 

 

 

Enter the following client applications:

 

Client ID:  CEAPI

Client secret: k490SaePq7

Refresh token lifetime (Minutes): 10

Login redirect URL: https://chaptermanagementapi.yourassociation.org/api/CreateEvent

 

 

Repeat the last step for the following two client applications, but with the following details:

 

Client ID: CMAPI

Client secret: x5Yq71BHkP0

Refresh token Lifetime (Minutes): 10

Login redirect URL: https://chaptermanagementapi.yourassociation.org/api/UpdateEvent

 

Client ID: EMAILAPI

Client secret: ua72V3Xexg

Refresh token Lifetime (Minutes): 10

Login redirect URL: https://chaptermanagementapi.yourassociation.org/api/Email

 

Your screen should look like the image on the left once you have entered these.

 

 

Navigate to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content > Chapter Management Suite > SSO and edit the “CE SSO” content item.

 

On the “New RedirectCommon” iPart, click Configure and set Client Application to CEAPI.  Click OK, then Save & Publish.

 

Repeat with the SSO CM content item, setting the Client Application to CMAPI.  Click OK, then Save & Publish.

 

Finally, repeat with the SSO EM content item, setting the Client Application to EMAILAPI. Click OK, then Save & Publish.

 

  1. Add System Administrator Account

 

 

 

 

Navigate to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content > Chapter Management Suite and edit the “System Admin Config” content item.

 

On the following page, enter in the Manager username and password or a system administrator equivalent. This is used by the Chapter Management Suite to create and edit events on behalf of the chapter.

 

IQA Path and RiSE Path will load in the default values at the time of installation. Unless the folders are renamed leave these as is.
